Discover the remarkable “Kreskostoria Polski” in 5D Extreme cinemas

The first episode of “Kreskostoria Polski” – the long awaited series produced by Studio Animacji Xantus from Grupa ADV, and directed by Bartek Kędzierski – will open in 5D Extreme cinemas on 20 January 2012. The 5D technology and other effects will surprise history lovers and make every viewer feel like the hero of the series. The pilot episode of the series will be released in 5D Extreme cinemas all over Poland, the premiere screenings will hit theatres this January!

The first episode of “Kreskostoria Polski”, entitled “Where is the Cross?” uncovers the mystery of the Christening of Poland and the secrets of Mieszko and Dobrawa. Bartek Kędzierski, the screenwriter and director of the series, brings wonderful humour and an unusual perspective to the history of Poland.

The unconventional formula and expert assistance at every phase of the production - from verification to scenery to the details of the clothing - mean that the latest work by Studio Animacji Xantus is not only the fascinating story of the history of the nation, presented in an accessible manner, but also an extraordinarily reliable source of information for the attentive viewer. Among the heroes of the series are historical figures and “ordinary people” - and it is their adventures and struggles with the problems of everyday life that are the main axis of “Kreskostoria Polski”. “The great history of the textbooks” will constitute only the backdrop for the presentation of the fates of these ordinary people.

Another strong point of the production is the top cast of voice actors. Among the actors giving life to the characters will be Marek Kondrat, Borys Szyc, Przemysław Bluszcz, Maciej Tomaszewski, Adam Cywka and many more extraordinary actors of the Polish stage and screen.

“The experience of our team and the ability of Bartek Kędzierski to reach young viewers will make our joint project perfect material the meet the needs of audiences of every age. We hope that the series will surprise fans of Bartek and Xantus’ previous works, while attracting new audience groups. ‘Kreskostoria Polski’ is an exceptional and unusually original lesson in history”, emphasizes Marek Duśiński, CEO of Studio Animacji Xantus.

The historical series “Kreskostoria” – with 26 episodes – is directed at middle school students and later, but adults will also enjoy it very much.

“Kreskostoria Polski" is being carried out at the Wrocław headquarters of Studio Animacji Xantus, where other series such as “Włatcy Móch”, and “1000 Złych Uczynków”, as well as the enormously popular television advertisements featuring Telekomunikacja Polska’s Heart and Mind and the Tesco Experts.
